Individual 'action groups' work well but inevitably they concentrate on those issues most likely to affect their local area to the exclusion of any others. We firmly believe there is a need for POWER to liaise with other groups, even attend their meeting (by being invited first of course) and reciprocating with invitations to attend ours. This we are doing. If you are part of an 'action group' with similar aims and ambitions, don't hesitate to approach POWER and let's see what we have in common?

Many 'action groups' understandably adopt a no-contact philosophy with different energy companies and local planning authorites. We understand that and indeed respect it; but believe in keeping doors open to hear opinions and proposals from all concerned, whilst in no way allowing these to compromising our aims and ambitions.
